Got a new tutorial for you, folks – Creating a Looping Particle System.

OK, some of you have probably been following my work for a while and know that I already did a looping particles tutorial at Creative Cow. But this is much more in depth and covers both creating looping particle systems and creating looping particle shapes using Trapcode Particular’s custom settings. You can find that tutorial here.

We’ll also use some of these techniques in a later tutorial…

In the tutorial we’ll use both Trapcode Particular and Trapcode Starglow to create a looping stylized holiday snowstorm.

Click here to see the example video.

However the technique can be used to create anything from motion graphics backgrounds to lower thirds.

As a gift, I’ve added a holiday poem at the end of the tutorial. The poem isn’t the gift. The gift is that I put it at the end, instead of the beginning, so you can get through the tutorial without ever having to listen to me recite the poem.

Your welcome.

Oh, and for a real gift, just for watching the video, we’re giving away a discount on Trapcode Particular and Trapcode Starglow. You can get that here.

Happy Holidays everyone!
