Today, Apple pushed out an update for Final Cut Pro X (10.0.5) that breaks compatibility with Magic Bullet Looks – essentially, preview images will appear inverted in the Looks Builder app. Our friends at Apple made sure we were aware of the change and worked with us so we could have a fix waiting for you as soon as we could. This fix is now live – grab it here.
What’s new in Magic Bullet Looks 2.0.8
- Fixed compatibility with Final Cut Pro X 10.0.5. This fix is backwards compatible with previous versions of FCPX. Without this update to Looks, images can appear inverted in the Looks Builder app.
- This update also includes a fix for importing larger frame sizes into the Looks Builder – you can now import frames up to 5k in size.
Enjoy!

Hi
I’ve just caught by accident that there has been an update for Looks to v2.0.8, to fix an issue with FCPX v 10.5
Anyway, I can’t get the ‘fix’ from your link on this web page on your site, and I’m hoping you can send me it via some other method.
My software was purchased last year
