In this action packed episode of Red Giant TV, we'll take you behind the scenes of our new film Plot Device. You'll hear directly from the cast and crew about filming, color correction, compositing, and visual FX, and you'll learn how the powerful tools in Magic Bullet suite 11 helped them create the film on a very limited timescale and budget.

Creating a short film will always be tough when Hollywood represents the overall standard we're all used to - MASSIVE budgets, even bigger stars and so on. But what you've created here is a fantastic way to profile a product in a really imaginative way. Personally I think it's brilliant!!! And guess what, Hollywood is most definitely going to copy what you've done here sometime in the future - considering they've already run out of original ideas! To the entire team of 'Plot Device' you now have a fan that will be following your work with interest. Keep it up!

I'dto see the whole suite in there and Trapcode... guys lets face it we know adobe has the market cornered and FC is dying a slow death while Apple caters to the masses in the i world... Vegas will grow... so maybe start with Mojo... I think your stuff is GREAT and have been using MBL for years in Vegas (windows xp 32 bit)... but hey its time to move on and maybe a few products to Sony would be nice... Cheers

Kevin - What products would you like to see in Vegas? For the longest time, all all Vegas users were asking about was MB Looks. That's in there now.

Really neat flick and community collaboration is always awesome. Some of the effects are a bit overdone IMHO, intense on my eyes

Powerful story, get use of the Mark 5D mark II, orbit dolly, ARRI lights and etc. Good plot, sound, writing, characters and more. Really enjoyed watching it. Also what was the budget for this short?
