Hi Folks – Yesterday Adobe released Creative Cloud 2014. We wanted to let you know that ALL of our Adobe CC-compatible products are now CC 2014-compatible. That means you can now install Adobe CC 2014, and use your Red Giant products after the update.

NOTE: We originally reported a bug that caused PluralEyes 3.3 to crash during export to Premiere Pro CC 2014. If you previously downloaded that version, we have fixed this and have updated our Shooter Suite 12.4 installer to include version 3.3.4. Get it HERE.

After you have downloaded and installed CC 2014, you will need to update your Red Giant Software installations. Here’s how:

  • Product Installers – All our products, except Universe, have new installers for 2014 that can be found HERE.
  • Universe can be easily updated through Red Giant Link. You will probably need to update Link as well. It’s easy and fast. LEARN MORE

As a general rule (with a few exceptions), we are no longer supporting 32-bit host applications through these installers, and any that come after. Specifically:

  • After Effects CS4 and older
  • Premiere Pro CS4 and older
  • Final Cut Pro 7 and Older

  • Color Suite products that support Final Cut Pro 7 continue to do so.
  • PluralEyes continues to support Final Cut Pro 7.
  • BulletProof continues to support of Final Cut Pro 7.

Rest assured – If you have these older 32-bit host applications, our software still continues to work there. You can still use the existing plug-ins and reinstall at any time with previous installers. All of the products can be installed for their 32-bit host apps through older Suite installers, which can be found here:

Please note: all future updates and bug fixes will only be available for the currently supported 64-bit host apps. As always, if you have any questions or problems, our support team is here for you.

    1. Matt,

We are not killing off this product. There has been know known bugs within Knoll Light Factory for PS that our engineering team has been working on.
As of right now this is not compatible but we plan on releasing an update for CC and CC 2014.
