UPDATE: All of our products are now compatible with Final Cut Pro X 10.1.2 Hey folks – last week, Apple released FinalCut Pro X 10.1.2. It looks like it’s full of some great new features, but at this time, we are not fully compatible, For now, we recommend you do not upgrade to 10.1.2 if you are using the following products:
  • Magic Bullet Looks (4K and 5K footage causing a crash) UPDATE: This has been fixed. READ MORE.
  • PluralEyes (XML not being imported properly) UPDATE: This has been fixed. READ MORE.
From our testing, it looks like our other FCPX Compatible plug-ins –  Red Giant Universe, Mojo, and BulletProof – are all working fine in the latest version of FCPX, and you should be safe to update to 10.1.2 for those products. We are working on updates for PluralEyes and Magic  Bullet Looks, and hope to have them ready for you, shortly. Stay tuned. As always, if you have any questions or problems, our support team is here for you.

It’s also crashing with plain old HD 720 footage as well. As soon as you click on the interface tab, it comes up then freezes and crashes.

  2. any update on this being fixed?

    1. Ben,

We will defiantly let everyone know when we have more information. Right now we are currently working still working on this update, so we really appreciate everyone’s patience.
      Thank you,

  3. Please hurry up i am doing a project and updater fcpx now i can use plural eyes and final cut won’t sort my 6 cameras. So i am stuck until the fix come out 🙁

  4. I am also stuck without plural eyes. New footage is backing up without getting synched. Rooting for you guys! Hope the update comes soon. -Jon

  5. To clarify: I figured out the workaround that doesn’t require an xml export from FCP, but when I try to import synced multicam files from Plural Eyes, they are no longer synced. Hope you guys are able to resolve this soon, Plural Eyes is an incredibly necessary tool that I use every day! Thanks for your work! -Jon

  6. Looks like Version 3.3.6 is out and fixes the issue! Thanks RG. FYI Everybody you have to launch the PE App for the update to come through, it won’t come through Red Giant Link!
