Renoiser is fully-customizable, and Includes 16 noise/grain presets based on real film stocks and popular movies, such as 16MM, 8MM and much more. Renoiser supports OpenGL/OpenCL (Adobe Mercury Playback), so it all happens in real time.

Here are some great ways to use Renoiser:

Magic Bullet Film 1.2

This update to our tool for giving your footage the look and color of real motion picture film brings OpenGL/OpenCL support. Magic Bullet Film 1.2 emulates the entire photochemical process – from the original film negative, to color grading, and finally to the print stock – but thanks to Mercury playback, you don’t have to wait to develop your footage, because it all plays back and renders in real time. Magic Bullet Film 1.2 is a FREE update to Magic Bullet Film 1.0.

  • GPU: OpenGL/OpenCL (Mercury Playback)

NOTE: Magic Bullet LUT Buddy has been discontinued. Read more in our FAQ. It’s worth noting that both Magic Bullet Looks and Colorista can both load LUTs.

  1. It’s clear that this release was rushed to production. Leaving out widely adopted log formats, such as S-Log3, C-Log, V-Log, etc., makes the “My Footage Is” function almost useless. By the time anyone invests in your software, they are already way too smart for the vast generalization of a single “Log” preset, with the only other option being a single S-Log2 preset. There are dramatic and important differences between the various Log formats, of course. None of them are respected by Red Giant in this release (or in any prior release), even though it would have been extraordinarily easy to code that function in: LUTs for each format are of course freely available and not subject to license. Naturally, if we shoot in Log, every single time we click on a preset, we fail to get even in the ballpark of how it should look. Needing to add a LUT into each preset for each sampling is of course a non-starter.

    1. Hi H. Paul! We agree about the importance of proper presets for each unique log format in My Footage Is. S-Log3 and C-Log presets will be coming to Magic Bullet Looks in a free update. V-Log is a bit tricker, as it is not really log, but we’d like to find a solution for this as well, especially if enough customers ask for it.
      Thank you for your feedback.

Great stuff guys, immediately graded our little fight choreography test with these new tools. Love the regrainer!

  3. When you say:
“Host-App: All of the tools work in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and Final Cut Pro X. Some tools work in additional host apps.”
…but then looking at standalone app Denoiser 3, It’s not compatible with FCPX?

  4. You can remove my earlier comment…
When clicking on Denoiser it says that compatible with FCPX. You should fix it where it only says Premiere and AE. This happens when hoovering over Denoiser 3 on same site.

    1. Thanks Jani!
We appreciate your feedback and will try to make our compatibility clearer for everyone.
      Thank you again!

  6. Thanks for adding high quality Shadow/Highlights “Pop”. Now it looks totally Photoshop-HDR like and haloless! Also GPU Mercury acceleration is so nice and fast! Right now i’m only missing high quality Vibrance effect (Lumetri Vibrance is a bad quality one, if you compare to CameraRAW). Also ability to customize LUT strength would be nice to have. And maybe i’m asking too much, but some sort of the effect builder (like in Sapphire plugins), especially for Mercury accelerated effects would be amazing!

Thanks anyway Red Giant! You did a great job!

  7. I’m having a problem with the Magic Bullet Suite 13.0.1 with Adobe Premiere 2017,
