Hi folks – Today Adobe announced the release of Adobe CC 2018. It’s full of awesome new features and improvements that we know you are eager to get started with.
The great news is that, with a free update, our current Red Giant products are Adobe CC 2018-compatible. Once updated, all five of our suites and Red Giant Universe will run perfectly in Adobe After Effects 15.0.0 and Premiere Pro 12.0.0 (CC 2018)
How to Update for CC 2018-Compatibility
This update is FREE to users of current Red Giant products. To ensure that you’re Red Giant tools are CC 2018-compatible, you’ll need to download and run the latest installers HERE.
A Note to Trapcode Suite and Effects Suite Windows Users
Due to plug-in directory changes in CC 2018 on Windows, you will need to re-install Trapcode Suite and Effects Suite with the latest installers, found HERE.
A Note to Magic Bullet Suite Users
If you run the latest Magic Bullet Suite installer, in both After Effects and Premiere Pro, you will find that your Magic Bullet plug-ins are now located under the effects category “RG Magic Bullet” (instead of “Magic Bullet”). You will need this update to ensure that the Colorista Panel will work properly in After Effects and Premiere Pro CC 2018.
A Note to Shooter Suite Users
You will need this update to ensure that the PluralEyes Panel will work properly in After Effects and Premiere Pro CC 2018.
An Important Note from Adobe:
If you wish to keep older versions of Creative Cloud running alongside CC 2018, when installing, remember to deselect “Remove Old Versions” in the Creative Cloud app. Read more about keeping previous versions installed from Adobe RIGHT HERE.
