Hey folks – Recently we asked you to hold back on installing Adobe Premiere Pro 14.1 because of a bug that caused Magic Bullet Colorista and Universe to stop working in PPro. But we have great news:

Today Adobe released an update that fixes the issue and you can now safely install Adobe Premiere Pro 14.2 along with Colorista and Universe. Have at it!

BONUS: This update also fixes a previous issue where Adobe Media Encoder was unable to export a project with Trapcode 3D Stroke, Echospace, Form, Mir or Shine applied.

First, make sure to update PPro to the latest version (14.2) as you normally do.

Once that’s done, if you have the latest versions of Colorista or Universe installed, then you need to do nothing. But if you are not sure if you have the latest versions, then either grab the installers HERE or use Red Giant Application Manager to update your tools.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out to our support team RIGHT HERE.

Great, I’m updating PP right now.
Only one question: as soon as now we have this new ‘Application Manager’ app, I guess I can remove the old ‘Red Giant Link’ app, isn’t it?

    1. Alessandro,

You can remove Red Giant Link, this shouldn’t lead to any issues for your current products.

  2. Awesome News!! Thank you Red Giant Team for the Update!! Stay healthy and safe!! 🙂

Great! Downloaded and updated, no more crushes, so far.
By the way, as soon as we have the ‘RG Application Manager’ app, I guess we can uninstall the ‘RG link’ app now, isn’t it?
