  1. Does this work for Final Cut Pro 7?

    1. Matthew,

PluralEyes 4 is compatible with FCPX, Premiere Pro and Sony Vegas- not with Final Cut Pro 7. Here is some more compatibility information regarding PluralEyes 4: http://www.redgiant.com/products/pluraleyes/compatibility/
      I hope this helps!

  3. I’ve purchased this recently, I use FCPX 10.3.1, and it’s worked for me on a couple of simple projects, but on wedding speeches I am having no luck when I am syncing up 3-4 cameras plus audio recorded to a digital recorder. I keep getting the message, “error details, invalid project or sequence (A lane has unexpected media such as a mix of audio and video clips or still images.) But this isn’t the case. I don’t have any still images and I’m just throwing in 3 or 4 cameras and the audio in separate lanes, please help!

    1. Greg,

I’m very sorry for the troubles! I’ve gone ahead and sent your comment to our support team. Our team will be reaching out to you shortly to look further into this issue.

  4. Will PluralEyes 4 have FCPXML export for Final Cut Pro X 10.3.2? When I export from PluralEyes to FCPX currently, the export fails. Am incredibly pleased with the stand-alone project, It is quite amazing. I have exported a Premiere XML and sent that to FCPX, but the setup on the timeline was very strange, with both the original audio and the synced recorder audio both showing up on the timeline. They were just a tad out of sync with an echo…

    1. Peter,

I sent your question to our support team who is better to assist with these kind of questions and will be able to look into why this is failing on export.
Support will be in contact with you shortly.

  5. My experience has been that PluralEyes 4 doesn’t work correctly with FCPX 10.3 when exporting XML 1.6 (the most recent version). Audio gets jumbled to incorrect lanes. My workaround has been to export XML 1.5 (the previous version) and not assign audio roles in advance in FCPX. Syncing then works correctly. Hopefully this gets fixed in an update. I’ve submitted this info to the support team.

    1. Robert,

Thank you so much for contacting support! Hopefully we will get this fixed for you soon!
Our team will contact you with more information.
