Import Presets

As your clips import into a BulletProof catalog, you can apply color adjustments, keywords and other metadata. Each Import Preset menu applies settings that you already decided upon in the Metadata, Color Settings and Keywords panels.

Color Preset menu

A Color preset applies non-destructive color adjustments to your clips as they import. These adjustments were made in the Color Settings panel before import — possibly during a previous work session — and saved as a color preset.

The default setting is None, which means no color preset is applied at import. The Manage Presets option opens the hard drive location of the preset files.

Metadata Preset menu

A Metadata preset applies metadata attributes to your clips as they import. These attributes were set in the Metadata panel before import — possibly during a previous work session — and saved as a metadata preset.

The default setting is None, which means no metadata preset is applied at import. The Manage Presets option opens the hard drive location of the preset files.

Keywords Preset menu

A Keyword preset applies keywords to your clips as they import. The Keyword Preset menu has more options than the other presets in Import Options.

These attributes may have been set the Keyword panel before import — possibly during a previous work session — and saved as a Keyword preset. Alternately, you can type in new keywords here, save a new preset, or modify an existing preset.

The default setting is None, which means no keywords are applied at import. The Manage Presets option opens the hard drive location of the preset files.

To enter new keywords in Conversation mode, choose Set Keywords. This opens a Keyword field where you can type in new keywords.
