Red Giant BulletProof

Thumbnails Panel

The Thumbnails panel displays the media in your catalog. The media you select in one view stays persistent when switching to another view. All video clips preview with a thumbnail graphic. Learn about file types

The panel compacts based on your screen size and how many source clips need to display. If you are working on a small screen, for instance, then the thumbnails will display a single column.

In Organize, Review and Refine views, Thumbnails displays the clips that are in the folder or playlist that's selected in the Catalog panel. You can apply a Star Rating, Color Label, Circle Take and Flag Status to single or multiple thumbnails. Learn about labels

Thumbnails in Import

In Import view, Thumbnails display for all media that is available for import. The Thumbnails panel is empty until you click a source to import from. Only then will BulletProof start generating thumbnails for the media.

When you click on a drive or media card in the Source panel, the thumbnails will update to show the source contents. You can select individual clips by clicking their thumbnails, or all clips for import using the Import All checkbox.

  • When you first click on a disk, card or folder, all clips are initially selected for import, and Import All is checked.
  • When you click a thumbnail in that selection, all clips are deselected and Import All gets unchecked.
  • You can click an individual thumbnail to select or deselect it, and use the Shift or Command key to multiple-select.
